Your trucks run on WhatsApp. Excel. Phone calls.
  • "Where is my truck?" all dayCustomers call dispatch, dispatch calls the driver, and nobody gets any work done.
  • Trucks come back emptyA load goes up to Nairobi or Kisumu and the truck drives home with nothing on it.
  • No POD, no invoiceSigned delivery notes sit in a cab for a week, so the invoice waits and so does the money.
  • Storage charges at the portA missing document holds a container past its free days, and the storage bill lands on you.

Your fleet deserves better.

The system

Dispatch, fleet and billing. One login.

A transport and logistics management system for couriers, transporters, clearing agents and warehouses. Fifteen modules share one database, so a booking becomes a trip, the trip feeds the customer's tracking link, the proof of delivery closes the job and the invoice goes out the same day. A shipment

From booking to proof of delivery.

One job follows the load from the first quote to the paid invoice, so sales, dispatch, the driver, the warehouse and accounts all work from the same record.

  1. 01

    Quote and book

Priced from the rate card, accepted by link and confirmed with a tracking link.

  2. 02

    Dispatch

A truck and driver with valid documents assigned, and the trip sheet sent to the driver's phone.

  3. 03

    Load

Pre-trip checks, seal numbers and loading photos taken before the truck leaves.

  4. 04

    On the road

Tracked on the map, with the ETA shared and the customer told at each step.

  5. 05

    Deliver

Proof of delivery by signature, photo or one-time code, and COD taken by M-Pesa.

  6. 06

    Bill and get paid

The invoice goes out with the POD and an eTIMS receipt, and the payment is matched.

Portals

Customers track it without calling you.

Receivers follow their parcel and pay the COD from a link. Account customers book, track, download PODs and pay invoices in their portal. Drivers work from an app that keeps going with no signal, and managers see the whole fleet from their phone.

For customers, drivers & riders and owners & managers.

Built for Kenya

Wired into how freight moves here.

M-Pesa

COD by STK push at the door, allowances paid to drivers, and paybill payments matched to invoices.

Questions

Before you ask.

What is Pinch for Logistics?

A transport and logistics management system built by Pinch Africa for Kenyan couriers, transporters, clearing agents and warehouses: bookings, dispatch, a live fleet map, drivers, last-mile delivery with proof of delivery, clearing files, the warehouse, fuel, maintenance and invoicing in one system.

What does it cost?

It depends on the modules, the number of vehicles and branches, and the number of users. After a free scoping call you get a fixed-scope proposal in writing, so you know the price before we start.

How long does it take to go live?

21 working days from the first ride-along to go-live. Days 1 to 3 we map how you work, days 4 to 15 we build and you test, days 16 to 18 we move your data, and days 19 to 21 we train your team and switch on.

Our trucks already have GPS trackers. Do we need new ones?

Usually not. We read positions from the tracker provider you already pay for, which is a connection we can build where the provider offers an interface. If a provider offers none, we can suggest trackers that do.

Does the driver app work without network?

Yes. Trip sheets load before the trip, and checks, photos, signatures and PODs are saved on the phone and sent when the driver is back in coverage.

Can our customers track their shipments?

Yes. Each booking sends a tracking link by SMS or WhatsApp showing the steps and the ETA, and account customers get a portal with every shipment, POD, invoice and statement.

Does it connect to the customs and port systems?

Your team keeps lodging entries in the customs system as they do today, and the clearing file records the entry, duty, charges and release. A direct connection is something we can build where an interface is offered to agents.

Does it work with KRA eTIMS and M-Pesa?

Yes. Invoices and credit notes are sent to eTIMS as they are issued, COD and invoices can be paid by M-Pesa, and paybill payments are matched to the right invoice.

Let's map your operation.

A free scoping call, then a fixed-scope proposal in writing.
